Startled birds burst into flight when leaving feeders. The safest location for your feeders is within 2 FEET of your house because startled birds fly AWAY from your windows. The next safest location is OVER 30 FEET from your home. (Placing feeders withing 5 to 25 feet is the DANGER ZONE!)
